Please note that this post contains spoilers for the NXT UK show and the Mae Young Classic tournament.

Toni Storm will not be wrestling at the wXw/PROGRSS shows taking place this weekend due to an injury. The promotions noted that the injury happened over the weekend at the NXT UK TV tapings and there?s no word on the severity of her injury until she gets the results back from her examination.

Storm was in the finals of the NXT UK Women?s Championship tournament against Rhea Ripley. As we first reported on Sunday, the referee threw up the ?X? sign and it looked like they may have gone to the finish early and Ripley ended up winning. It?s not clear to us if Ripley was the original plan to win the title or if an audible was called.

Storm is scheduled to face Io Shiri at the Mae Young Classic Finals at the Evolution pay-per-view on October 28.
