It looks like CM Punk has finished up filming of his upcoming haunted house thriller ?Girl On The Third Floor,? per Deadline. The movie was filmed in Frankfort, Illinois in a house that has been rumored to be haunted. Punk, real name Phill Brooks, stars as failing husband Don Koch.
Koch is attempting to fix up the old house to make up for his past mistakes. His wife, Liz Koch, is concerned with the timeframe of renovations due to the fact that they have a baby on the way. Then ?As Don tears the house apart, it begins to tear him apart as well, revealing the rot behind the drywall.?
Brooks had this to say about starring in the film:
?I?m thrilled to have had the opportunity to take on the lead role in Girl On The Third Floor,? said Brooks. ?I?m a longtime personal fan of genre films and this project was an absolute natural fit for me.?
Producer Greg Newman also offered his thoughts on Brooks:
