This past Tuesday on SmackDown Live, the blue brand celebrated their 1000th episode. To open up the show, The McMahon Family ? Shane, Stephanie, and Vince ? were guests on R-Truth and Carmella?s ?Truth TV? segment. They proceeded to kick off SmackDown 1000 with a dance party.
As for SmackDown Commissioner Shane McMahon, this was his first appearance on SmackDown in several months. In his absence, General Manager Paige has been running the show herself.
PWInsider is reporting that Shane?s appearance on SmackDown 1000 was meant to be his return to WWE TV. He will reportedly be worked into storylines and should be a regular fixture on the program in the coming weeks. The timing of Shane?s return is interesting. He captained Team SmackDown last year at Survivor Series in their Elimination Tag Team match against RAW.
Perhaps ?Shane O?Mac? is coming back to SmackDown to build-up his in-ring return at Survivor Series next month.
