IMPACT Knockouts Champion Tessa Blanchard was successful in her title defense at IMPACT Wrestling?s ?Bound For Glory? this past weekend. She defeated Taya Valkyrie to retain her title. The same can not be said for Austin Aries. He was defeated by bitter rival Johnny Impact and dropped the IMPACT World Championship in the process.
After the match, however, Aries no-sold the effects of the bout and went backstage after yelling at Johnny and throwing up some unfriendly hand gestures. Blanchard was recently interviewed on ?Busted Open Radio? and was asked about the incident. When asked if she thinks Aries disrespected the IMPACT locker room with his actions, Blanchard believes, to an extent, he did:
?To an extent, yes. I?m not really sure what Austin was trying to accomplish. Brian [Cage] said it before, I think if the roles were reversed and Austin was sitting in the locker room watching that happen, I?m sure he would feel disrespected, I?m sure he would not be so happy.
?He would have some things to say and some questions. So if the roles were reversed, I?m sure he would be in the same position as the whole locker room kind of felt, I think.?
