According to sources, WWE is reportedly considering using WWE NXT talent Tino Sabbatelli as a TV announcer. As of this writing, there is no word on if he would call WWE events on the main roster or developmental.
For those unaware, Sabbatelli suffered a torn pectoral muscle during a WWE NXT live event match with The Velveteen Dream back in May of 2018. Sabbatelli was originally expected to be out for around nine months, but he still hasn’t been cleared to return at this time. Sabbatelli also had issues after the surgery he underwent and his situation is said to be similar to that of Jason Jordan.
Sabbatelli used to play for the NFL and signed with WWE in 2014.
