As is a tradition during NXT TakeOver events, there were plenty of people in the crowd informally announcing their arrival to the NXT UK brand during the TakeOver: Blackpool event.
Luke Menzies, Kay Lee Rae, and Jazzy Gabert all made appearances in the crowd for this first-ever NXT UK TakeOver event.
However, the main story came at the end when WALTER appeared. Pete Dunne with celebrating his victory after an incredible man event against Joe Coffey when the Monstrous man appeared. WALTER would lay out Joe Coffey with a massive big boot and stare down the United Kingdom Champion.
All of these new talents set the stage for an even brighter NXT UK in 2019.
