PPVs on DVD (Question about quality)

Hey guys, I was thinking about buying a few PPVs from 2010/2011 on dvd from amazon but just about all of them say they are full screen. I find that a bit hard to believe since they're on dvd and all. I'm hoping they're in fact widescreen but labeled wrong?? Just wondering if someone who has bought one of the PPVs could confirm if they are full screen or widescreen.

So, I went ahead and shelled out $6 for a ppv to see what the deal is. I'll post my findings when it arrives in case anyone else is curious.

How can these dvds be full screen in this day and age? I dunno, but if they are WWE needs to get their act together because I have no interest in spending money on poor quality that cuts off half the picture.
