Farmery
Benjamin Greene and Tyler Nethers want do one better than just a farmers market. Instead of bringing the produce to the city, they want to bring the farm to town. The North Carolina men have developed what they're calling the Farmery. It uses metal shipping containers that combine a greenhouse and a store. A local paper reports they're raising money for the project on the Kickstater website. The Farmery entrepreneurs say a self-contained growing-selling unit would reduce costs and result in the freshest possible produce.
