Two seemingly unrelated events intersected in the south-central city of Jaén, Spain, last week when a robber gave police the sex tapes of a man who had reported a robbery nine days earlier. The tapes allegedly showed the robbery victim engaged in sex with several different children. The content was disturbing enough that the robber felt morally obliged to turn the man in.
Police received a tip about the tapes from an unnamed source, who left them hidden for police to find under a parked car. According to a police statement, an anonymous note with the tapes read, ”I have had the misfortune to have these tapes fall into my hands and feel obliged to submit them so you can do your work and put this …[deleted expletive] in jail for life.”
The alleged aggressor turned out to be a soccer coach, who had been robbed ten days earlier. Unsurprisingly he did not list the stolen video camera and sex tapes among the items taken in the robbery.
Police reportedly searched his home and the gym where he worked, and arrested him.
According to police, they have already traced the tapes to four victims, one boy, 16, has been sexually assaulted regularly by the alleged aggressor since he was 10.
They have not said how many potential victims are shown in the tapes .
