What ever you may have purchased for your sweetie this Valentine's Day is useless compared to what an Arizona inmate did for his beau. Everyone hang your heads in shame; we all have failed our plus ones!
Pinal County inmate, Joseph Andrew Dekenipp, 40, showed his love for his girlfriend; showing us all up in the process, by scaling several fences, crawling through razor wire in order to make his date.
According to AZCentral, Dekenipp had made his way to the Gallopin’ Goose Saloon & Grill, where he was set to meet with his girlfriend.
Sheriff’s officials are investigating what part, if any, other inmates may have had in Dekenipp’s escape. Officials say he told other inmates he was broken hearted for having been away from his girlfriend for so long.
His escape will undoubtedly test the "absence makes the heart grow fonder" theory as he will be spending some more time in lockup for the incident. At least his cell-mate will still have a Valentine.
Young love!
