WWE star wants to see the Divas Championship make a comeback

The WWE Divas Championship was retired back in April of 2016. This was around the time WWE decided to drop the ?Diva? term and refer to their female competitors as WWE Superstars, just like everyone else.

There has been a lot of controversy around the ?Diva? term and it no longer being used in WWE terminology. One star who has been a big defender of the ?Diva? term is Maria Kanellis. A fan recently asked Kanellis on Twitter what she?d like to see change or be different in WWE.

She responded that she?d like to see the Divas Title be brought back:

There are few people that truly understand what the Divas title was supposed to be. It was supposed to be another title to fight for, just like there are today, not the only title. But people criticize that don?t understand and that?s just ignorance.
