The rumors about Hulk Hogan returning for the Crown Jewel show in Saudi Arabia have picked up steam, thanks to a tweet from Turki Al-Sheikh.

Al-Sheikh is the Chairman of the General Sports Authority in Saudi Arabia and he is the person who signed the deal to bring WWE events into the country for the next 10 years. He is a WWE fan but is more familiar with wrestlers from the 90?s. Al-Sheikh previously requested for Hulk Hogan to appear at the Greatest Royal Rumble show in April but that was not possible at the time.

Now that Hogan is back in the WWE Hall Of Fame and on friendly terms with the company, it looks like he will be back sooner than we think. Keep in mind that money talks and WWE will be making more money off this deal than they would for WrestleMania and that is why names like The Undertaker and Shawn Michaels will be wrestling on that show.

Hogan was brought to Pittsburgh in July to talk to the WWE locker room to talk about his racist comments from over a decade ago that came to light in 2015 via a story in the National Enquirer. Some of the wrestlers forgave him while others, notably Titus O?Neil and The New Day, felt that Hogan was not genuine and it came off to them like he was more sorry about getting caught than being sorry about what he said.

It will be interesting to see how the locker room reacts when Hogan is brought back to WWE television. WWE Crown Jewel will air on Friday, November 2nd and will air live on the WWE Network.
