– Dana White spoke with MMAjunkie about fighers being upset by the company’s last-minute move of UFC 232 to California. California has an income tax, where Nevada does not. White noted that the company is losing $6 million by the move as well; highlights from his comments are below:

On UFC 232 moving to California where fighters are beiong taxed 9% of their earnings: “It is what it is. It’s either that or not fight and nobody gets paid anything. It is what it is. We had to move it. It’s costing everybody more money. It is what it is.”

On fighters being uhappy about the move: “Listen, it’s not an easy decision to make. You have to pull the trigger and you’ve got to make moves. You can’t make everyone happy. Not every fan, every fighter, but we gave the fans in Las Vegas the opportunity to get tickets first, and the tickets are cheaper. We had over 3,000 people buy tickets here that had tickets in Vegas. We did everything we could to make it better. We did what we could do.”
